Iris Registration
Accurate alignment is essential to optimizing customized wavefront-guided ablations. VISX Iris Registration Technology makes accurate alignment easier than ever with a fully automated method. One set of measurements is taken with you seated at the WaveScan System, and another set is taken with you lying down on the laser bed. Then, the technology employs the iris registration process for accurate treatment placement.

ActiveTrack 3-D Eye Tracker
The laser’s infrared cameras actively follow the tiniest motions of your eye in all three dimensions, capturing more than 99.4 percent of the eye movement. The ActiveTrack system tracks you natural pupil and doesn’t require your eye to be dilated like other laser systems.

ActiveTrack Automatic Centering
Enables you doctor to precisely identify the center of your pupil and keep the laser centered to within 50 microns (about the width of a human hair), even if your eye moves.

Variable Spot Scanning (VSS)
Incorporates a sophisticated array of seven beam diameters ranging from 0.65 to 6.5mm to give you a personalized treatment quickly and efficiently. VSS gives your doctor greater flexibility to personalize your laser vision correction with a larger treatment area.
